Job Description
We seek a professional and highly skilled sales representative to join our team! Please note the job title will be Business Development Manager, and this position is best suited for a junior sales professional with a year or two of experience. So while we expect you to bring a lot to the table, this is also an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain more sales experience and knowledge under the wing of our more senior sales staff. Responsibilities:
Full-cycle sales development
Heavy prospecting to identify new business opportunities using research, outreach, and industry resources
Create and maintain strong customer relationships within the industry
Meet or exceed daily/weekly, etc. business development activities
Produce a high volume of prospecting calls/emails to create successful opportunities
Maintain accurate data/records in corporate database
Travel is required (trade shows, sales calls, etc.)
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of relevant sales experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Exceptional communication skills over phone and email required
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, and very detail-oriented
Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to effectively manage time
Display a high degree of ethical conduct and personal integrity
Reliable work attendance and a good corporate citizen
Ability to qualify leads with strong follow up skills
Microsoft Office Suite experience required
CRM platform experience
Background in B2B advertising/marketing a plus
