The Role and the Team

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our fast-paced, high performing team. This individual will be an integral part of the accounting team in many areas. This role will report to the Director of Accounting and will be responsible for additional projects as needed by upper management. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and leading groups within accounting. They will be a CPA and have a strong working knowledge of US GAAP with experience in a wide range of GL functions. Job Responsibilities
Manage the GL team to execute accounting processes
Lead the Monthly financial close to ensure completeness of the day-to-day activities
Responsible for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures, i.e., journal entries, account reconciliations
Review balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis for management and audit review
Manage Cash functions including timely reconciliations and funding for International entities
Maintain a strong internal control environment, updating controls and processes as needed
Manage the Fixed Assets and streamline fixed asset tracking
Support of proper recording of expenditures in accordance with ASC 842
Promote a culture of improvement and operational innovation to improve processes
Supervise and develop the team and support their professional growth
Assist with financial analysis and special projects as needed
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA is required
Minimum of 7 years of general accounting experience in industry and/or a public accounting firm with a minimum of 3 years of management experience
Strong Excel skills required
Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of US GAAP
Superior organization and verbal/communication skills
Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and prioritization skills
Dynamics AX or D365 ERP experience a plus
