Membership Communication Representative

Job Description

The California Yacht Club is seeking for a Full-Time Membership Communication Representative candidate. This position contributes to the success of the California Yacht Club by creating positive experiences for every customer, guest, and co-worker in providing friendly and exceptional service. A key to this position is to maintain current knowledge of all club offerings; providing accurate information and promoting club services to members. This position will work as part of a team in an administrative assistant capacity to support the Membership Department.

KEY RESULTS & TASKS

Efficiently Coordinate and Support Membership Department
Give Club tours and maintain complete prospective membership folders to give out.
Maintain up-to-date member profiles and keep organized.
Effectively Conduct Assigned Club Communication
Maintain event announcement sections on the website.
Create graphic posters, Breeze ads, Zephyr ads as requested.
Oversee The Breeze Magazine operation
Consistently adhere to the Company core service standards
Ensure A Safe Work Environment
Perform Other General Department and Club Task
EDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal: Minimum of 3 years of experience in same or similar positions in the Retail, Hospitality, Admin, and/or Sales industry
Required: At least eighteen (18) years of age.
Required: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Ideal: College Degree in Business Administration, Communication or related field
Ideal: CPR Certification
Required: Ability to provide and accept constructive feedback in a positive and productive manner.
Required: Reliable and punctual attendance; arriving at work on time, prepared to work.
Required: Capable of working effectively independently with minimal supervision
Required: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Note: You must have an open schedule and ready to work over time when available.
