Remote – Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are looking to hire a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager (will consider either for the role) for a fast-moving start-up company in the architecture/retail space. The firm is located on the East Coast, but their Director of Finance is starting her division here in the Los Angeles area. This client needs a CPA candidate or CPA candidate who has at least 2 years of experience with a mid-sized company. They are working remotely but would prefer someone in the Los Angeles are so that they can meet if/when needed (in a WebWorks type space). Here is a bit more about this direct hire job:

Job Responsibilities

Month-end close, preparing journal entries and reconciliations
Analysis on completeness of financial statements
Documentation of accounting policies and procedures
Assist with financial and tax compliance requirements and filings
Job Requirements

CPA or CPA candidate a must
BA in Accounting
Mix of manufacturing and inventory cost experience
Demonstrated the ability to work successfully in a remote/independent setting
